I love sugar cookies, and molasses spice cookies are at the top of Larry’s list of favorites. These are a great mix of the two – butter, subtle spices, nice soft texture. Every time I took another bite of one I found myself thinking, “wow, this is a good cookie”.
I’m still having a few issues with flat-ish cookies, but I’ve swapped from my local butter to Lurpak (for cookies only) and it seems to have helped a bit. I refrigerated the dough overnight before baking these because I think cookies always benefit from it. Find the recipe online here.
